The steel back is marked 'Spear & Jackson , S J, Leap-Frog Warranted Sheffeld Cast Steel'.
The blade is marked 'Spear & Jackson, Etna Works Sheffield, Trade Mark, No 46 No 46, Cast Steel Warranted, Patent Machine Ground.', it also is marked with the trader marking 'Made Expressly For WHC Thurman, Tool Merchant, Dorchester'.
The medallion is marrked 'Spear & Jackson, Sheffield, SJ'.

Condition: a piece has been removed on the first 1 1/4 nearest the handle otherwise all teeth present, blade is straight, a few patches of black staining and pitting, the saw would benefit from a sharpen, please see photos for condition.
