A charming old wooden chamfer plane by Moseley.
This plane has the nice feature of having a solid steel chamfer shoe.
We believe this plane to be very scarce.
The front nose is faintly marked 'John Moseley & Son, ..55 Broad St, Bloomsbury, London'.
The plane is fitted with its original plane iron which is marked 'John Moseley & Son.
Would make a great addition to someones tool collection.
Condition: all parts move freely, one of the securing screws is slightly larger than the other and has three washers - it is very stiff when making last few turns, the other screw is failry loose until you push the last couple of turns, please see photos for condition.
