A lovely old gunmetal/brass chariot plane fitted with a Ward plane iron and a decorative Ebony wedge.
The front of the sole looks like a very old, good replacement.
The lady who sold us this plane said the plane belonged to her father who had quite a history of work including carrying out some work on Buckingham Palace.
