A very old collectable crosscut hand saw.
The blade on this antique saw is marked with an etching 'Dyer, London'.
The Reference Book 'British Saws & Saw Makers from 1660' record 'Dyer, London' as made 1818-1841 which is very old for a saw and rare to find one of this age in this condition.
The saw is fitted with an old decorative Beech handle.
A lovely old tangible piece of history which has lived through possibly later Georgian times, it's lived from the beginning of Queen Victoria's long reign through a number of wars including WWI and WWII all the way to present day.

Condition: the blade is straight, all teeth present, would benefit from a sharpen, blade toe has a small bit of damage (see photo), in very good condition for a saw of about 200 years old (rare to find), please see photos for condition.
