The rule is marked 'Brown & Sharpe MFG Co, Providence, RI, USA, Tempered No 4, 300'.
The rule is marked out in inches with edge's respectively in 1/8's, 1/16's, 1/32's, 1/64's.
The rule neatly fits in the box also.
The level and the rule are both thought to date to about the 1920's. These tools came from an old engineer and his father before him.
The Stanley level has the patent 'Pat 5-6-24'.
Condition: all bubbles in tact, one of the eyes on the box is missing and the other doesn't lock, please see photos for condition
