An Old Medieval Looking Try Square.
This square we believe in fact dates to the 1870's, it looks like it is a Stanley try square no. 2 with a blade marked with very hard to make out measurements to 10".
The stock has been rivetted at some point in its long history which gives it a very old look.
Could make an interesting wall hanging.
Condition: blade has a wobble as you look down it, blade is heavily pitted in places with black staining, stock has numerous splits, stock metal frame has splits apart from that it is great..it is a scarce Stanley square and it exists, please see photos for condition.
