An old scarce Chas Gray & Sons rip saw.
This old saw has a lovely old medallion which says 'Chas Gray & Sons, Try, Sheffield' along with the Fleur De Lis logo.
The blade also has good clear old etching with the same wording as well as 'Philips Works'.
This saw dates to C.1860.
This saw came from a life-long saw collector.
TPI: 3 1/2" - 4 1/2" (tapered tpi which seems common/norm for old rip saws)

Condition: blade is straight, blade has pitting / black staining / aged tarnish, all teeth present, saw is sharp / pretty sharp, please see photos for condition.
